Centric

Centric is one of the largest IT companies in the Netherlands. PHUNK was asked to make a brandfilm for them in an approachable and recognisable 3D style. The central characters in the animation are a family which showcases the different products and services of Centric.

The Process

The core idea behind the animation was centered around the concept of family. Alongside this, we wanted to develop a strong visual approach to enhance the storytelling. We chose to use seamless transitions between shots, where characters maintained the same pose before and after the cut, creating a smooth and cohesive flow.

We started with a distinct 2D style and carefully adapted it into 3D, keeping its charm and vibrant look. The result was a colorful and recognizable animation with a fun, iconic feel.

To make it even more engaging, we added humor throughout, especially with quirky animal designs and playful animations that got a great response.
