Justt
PHUNK designed a mascot for Justt, a company specializing in chargeback mitigation and friendly fraud protection for online merchants. With unparalleled visibility into dispute monitoring, Justt needed a mascot that aligned with its brand identity. The final design took the form of a lava lamp-inspired robot, seamlessly integrating with Justt’s existing design elements.
The Process
We collaborated with our friends at Patswerk to bring this mascot to life, refining multiple design iterations before arriving at the final concept. The character's fluid shapes were designed to complement the liquid elements on the website. Translating such an unconventional character into a 3D design was an exciting challenge, we developed a specialized rig to stretch and deform its telescopic arms, added dynamic effects to the liquid, and used color to convey different emotions, making the mascot both expressive and visually engaging.
