Liberation Day 2020
2020 is the year that we in the Netherlands commemorate the Second World War and we celebrate that we have been free for 75 years since then. We are very honored that we have been asked to make a number of animations for the celebration of 75 years of freedom and it is great that we have learned so much about the liberation and especially the liberation of The Hague. For the first animation, we translated the house style into a dynamically animated intro and outro to use for expressions throughout the year.

Grandfather’s Letter
Did you know that the liberation of The Hague took place on May 8, not on May 5? In the animation 'Brief van Opa' (Grandfather's letter) we tell you what happened in those three days.
We have translated this story into an animation in collaboration with six students from InHolland. We also used the voices of the students as voice over and a grandfather of one of the students was willing to speak the grandfather's voice. Obviously we had to make choices about what we show in the animation and a lot more happened in those days, we have heard so many stories about what happened in our own city that you walk through the streets more aware of what has taken place at these locations.
We, therefore, hope that our animation 'Brief van Opa' has the same effect to some extent.
